Trust With Your Heart

I don't know if you have ever had Dove chocolate but if you haven't get in the car and go get you some now! It is seriously some of my favorite chocolate--also their wrappers have inspirational messages! This is what one of my pieces of chocolate told me today, "Trust with your heart not your head." We all get caught up in our heads, thinking that we can control things and that we can sort through all things on our own. Well I know that I cannot; if I think too hard with my head it begins to hurt and causes me anxiety and stress--I am the queen of over thinking. But if I listen to my heart, that is a different story. When I think about listening to my heart I think about God talking to my heart, not my head. If God is love then of course the logical path to communicate with us is through our hearts. God knows our deepest desires but God also has a plan for us greater than anything we can imagine sometimes it takes us sitting down and looking to our hearts to see where our desires match up with God's plans. When things don't work out our heart hurts but we have to have hope that all things will come together for good--that God has a plan for us. When our heart's hurt we need to turn towards God and trust that God will heal our wounds.Isaiah 26:3-4Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace--in peace because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock.Psalm 28:7The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.Psalm  34: 7-18When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.May the Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
